Well, I just thought I would let everyone know that I survived my senior paper!
Thursday night ended up being a very long night, but I did it. And boy did the caffeine help. After work I went straight to Mellelo's and got a 16 oz. and then at about 11:00 Cindi and I made a pot of coffee and I had two rather large cups of that. In the end, I pulled an all nighter, and finished at 6:00 in the morning. I then attempted to sleep for 45 minutes or so-but my mind was still running a mile a minute. Then I printed out my paper, went to school and turned the dreaded thing in! After turning it in, I went straight home and to bed where I got to sleep for two whole hours! But alas, my day was not complete. I then had to get up and go to work! My boss informed me that I looked extremely tired and let me leave work early to go home and go to bed. Which I didn't end up doing because Friday night was ordinance. After ordinance, against my better judgement-which would be to sleep-I went to see 'Firewall'. Which ended up being really good, except Zach and I were both so tired that we both had a little trouble staying awake. But it was still really nice to get out and relax.
Ok, I think I have done enough rambling to call this a post.

So the question is this....are you well rested now, or do you still need to get some R&R?
Well, I can't say that I ever actually caught up on sleep. On Saturday-much to my dismay-I woke up at 9:00 and I didn't even have to be anywhere. But I feel fine, so I must have caught up on it sometime. Probably while I was at work on Friday-I was such a zombie.
Yeah, I don't know that it turned out great. About the only thing I can say is that I finished it to the minimum requirements.
Ahh, the Senior paper. Your story sounds a lot like mine. Fortunately for me, I did my Senior paper when I was a Junior, so Senior year was a breeze! Such is my story... so many brains, so much waste.
Junior year I had my Junior paper to worry about. Much like the Senior paper, except only 5 pages instead of 8. But with that one I was smart and didn't put it off. I ended up going to bed at 12:30 I think the night before it was due. Those were the days.
I did my Junior project when I was a Sophmore, and it had to be 10 pages - as was my Senior project. Eight pages!? They are really lowering standards these days. You'll find when you get to college that eight pages nuthin'. A walk in the park.
BTW - Even though my Junior paper had to be 10 pages, it ended up being 20. I wrote the paper single spaced, and when I went to turn it in, my teacher said it had to be double spaced - talk about overkill. I shoulda paid attention more. Woulda made the thing a lot easier. :)
I unlike some of you did not have a senior paper, nor did I have a junior paper. So needless to say, I enjoyed my High School days.

Well, aren't you special. We had our Sophomore papers to worry about Sophomore year. And it was 8 pages minimum, 10 pages maximum. They wouldn't accept it if it was over 10 pages. And about lowering standards-that's fine by me. Or better yet, just do away with the whole senior paper/project. Yeah, that would be good.
That's fine too. They don't teach you kids how to write these days anyway.
Hmm...like Eagle Point was much better....
