Ah, politics. My favorite subject. NOT. Here I sit at work with fifteen minutes to go and behind me I can here my boss on the phone talking about politics. My favorite subject. On and on she goes. About politics. My favorite subject.
Are you getting the picture yet? My favorite subject. Almost as much as Zach loves to listen to girls talk about shoes. Yeah. My favorite subject.
In other news, I cannot wait until this Friday is here. I'm really looking forward to the youth retreat. Four. More. Days. I can do it. I think. Yeah, I think I can, I think I can. Well, we'll see, won't we.
Ah. My favorite subject.

LOL!
I'm never gonna live that down.
Hehehe...no, probably not.
Politics is an AWESOME topic. You just have to "get" how it will affect you, and suddenly you will become interested.
I never said I don't understand them. I just tire of the subject because along with the subject of politics comes so much debate and controversy. Every one always disagrees, and for me, it's just not worth the time or effort to argue with someone to make them understand where I'm coming from.
Very rarely will you be able to convince the other person of what you're trying to make them 'get'. Not worth it to me.
I totally feel ya there, Mandy. I don't mind discussing them, as long as its someone who I see eye to eye w/. But that rarely happens, considering the world we live in and the fact that I'm going to a liberal arts college.
haha, yeah, not my idea of a good time.
Just a quick question - if you were at work listening to your boss talk about politics, why were you not working? Blogging from work...
I tell ya, the work ethic of some AFer's is just going down the toilet.
Toilets. Now there is an interesting topic - very similar to politics.
LOL! That's a good question. Afraid I don't have answer for ya though, Bry. All I can say in my defense is that I only had 15 minutes left in my day before I could leave, and I had just finished doing a mass mailing out to about 300 or so people. So..I think I deserved a five minute break to whine, before cleaning up for the day.
Bry, I think you're wrong. In some cases I would consider toilets to be a far superior topic to politics.
I think we should ban illegals from using toilets. That would definitely make them go home. Oh wait, do they have toilets down there?
Sorry, that was kinda dumb, but this is the only post anywhere where people are actually writing...
I'm glad to serve as your last resort, Chris.
Yeah, this is the "rebound" post... lol
