Why is it that the littlest cuts seem to hurt the most??

Tonight when I was curling ribbon for a present I managed to slip with the scissors and slit open my finger, and now it won't stop stinging! I know, I know, I probably sound like I'm whining, but it hurts! I even put some neosporin + on it, but it's not helping. Ya, thats about all I have to say.

sounds like some disgusting old wives tale/cure that doesn't actually work. Waste of time, and I'd have to smell disgusting mustard

Matt... you suck at making things up... stop.

I'm sorry you cut your finger... but you know, you really shouldn't do that... 'cause I've heard that it hurts. But that's just me.

LOL, I'll try to remember that next time. Or use duller scissors

Oh, Mandy, the cutting has got to stop. Maybe you should get some counseling. There's gotta be a better, less painful way to ease your frustrations.

I'll think about it

No joke, this is for real. It stings a bit at the start, but some of the best stuff for closing a cut is a dab of superglue. It seals the cut and keeps the "flap" from rubbing, that's where the bulk of the pain comes from. Sports teams use it all the time. Just be sure not to touch anything until it's dry.

Band-Aid actually makes a liquid bandage that is essentially super glue.

Just a thought.

Lemme know if you mustard up enough courage to actually try the superglue technique...

he he

actually, the cut is healed now, but thanks. And I wouldn't be afraid to use superglue, I've used it before. My dad uses it all the time on his cuts
